Site Material Specialist – Gas Pipeline Project | Lower Saxony, Germany
About the Company:
For an international EPC contractor and recognized leader in the construction of energy infrastructure and large-scale Oil & Gas projects, we are looking to hire a Site Material Specialist to support a major project in Lower Saxony, Germany.
The candidate will act as a key technical interface between the QA/QC and Construction teams.
What you will do:
- Coordinate the receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of project materials.
- Ensure materials meet all technical specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
- Manage documentation and traceability records; support Procurement with supplier follow-up and delivery tracking.
- Collaborate with Construction, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure proper material handling and safety compliance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles within Oil & Gas, pipeline, or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of material specifications and international standards (API, ASTM, EN, ISO).
- Experience with material management systems or ERP tools (SAP or equivalent).
- Good command of English and German (written and spoken); Italian is a plus.
