MATERIALS APPLICATION ENGINEER - PRODUCTION SUPPORT - AVIATION DOMAIN
Job Location: Turin Area, Italy
Role Overview
The selected resource, assigned to a well-structured Engineering Support office dealing with Aero Engines domain, will be in charge for activities related to production support and R&D. Specifically, the selected resource shall contribute to validation of materials and processes, definition of technical specifications and failure analysis/investigation on damaged and/or non-conforming components, partnering with other Departments (i. e. Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain etc. ) and directly interfacing with suppliers.
Qualification requirements
- Materials/Nanotechnology/ Engineering Master Degree or similar background;
- Broad knowledge about materials (metallic, ceramic, composite, polymeric etc) and experience on characterization tests;
- Proficiency in English;
- Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook);
- Commitment, precision, flexibility, proactivity, reliability;
- Self-organization/self-motivation oriented mindset;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Excellent team-work attitude strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines;
- Availability for business travels (short & long term travels).
Desired skills
- Good knowledge of production processes applied to nickel superalloys is considered a plus;
- Experience with international standards is considered a plus.
Due to the nature of work, candidates should be Italian Citizens.
