Master Data and Product Configurator Coordinator will be responsible for managing, supervising, and optimizing product coding processes for the WW branches, coding processes for semi-finished goods, creating and maintaining bills of materials, updating the price list for each country and supplier price lists, maintaining all item master data fields, performing purchasing simulations for all projects and new items added to the catalogue, and managing the product configurator, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment of technical data with production, sales, and logistics processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the product coding office, ensuring standardization and quality of master and technical data
- Define, maintain, and update bills of materials (BOM) in collaboration with the technical, production, and purchasing departments
- Manage the product configurator, ensuring proper functioning, consistency with technical specifications, and support for the sales team
- Supervise the processes of creating and modifying item codes, work cycles, and product variants
- Ensure integration and consistency of data between ERP, PLM systems, and the configurator
- Define procedures, guidelines, and best practices for managing master data and bills of materials
- Monitor KPIs related to data quality, update timelines, and configuration accuracy
- Support continuous improvement and digitization projects for technical and production processes
- Collaborate with IT on system developments and automation initiatives
- Manage and train team members, assigning priorities and setting objectives
Key Experiences
- 5+ years of experience in master data management, product lifecycle management, operations, or related functions
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, product structures, and supply chain principles
Key Knowledge & Competencies
- Proven experience managing product configurators (e.g., SAP VC, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
- Fluent in English mandatory requirement
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and a structured, process-oriented mindset
