As leader of the Italian Marketing Department, directly reporting to the General Manager, you will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:

  • Increase Traffic in both Physical / Online Stores
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategy to increase market share and brand awareness through 3 main areas of responsibility:

COMM, PR & EVENTS

  • Develop and execute comprehensive full-funnel media and advertising strategies for the Sephora brand, as well as for co-branded campaigns with partner brands.
  • Create and implement effective social media strategies for Sephora Italy's local social channels (@sephoraitalia on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube).
  • Lead and direct PR and digital PR strategies to ensure a strong presence and maintain relevance in the Italian market.
  • Establish and manage influencer collaborations to preserve an authentic tone of voice, foster advocacy aligned with the brand image and maximize reach and impact.
  • Develop and consistently implement original content across all platforms.
  • Plan and manage sponsorships, branded events, and large-scale consumer activations.
  • Manage and allocate the marketing budget across various projects to effectively achieve country-specific goals.

CRM

  • Cultivate and strengthen the existing loyal customer base to ensure optimal customer experience and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Expand the loyalty program through increased enrollment, while implementing targeted initiatives to reduce inactivity and customer churn.
  • Develop and implement commercial plans and targeted actions to optimize customer behavior within each segment, focusing on maximizing return on investment (ROI).
  • Analyze and monitor customer data, sharing pertinent insights with key internal stakeholders to inform strategic decisions and initiatives.

RETAIL MARKETING

  • Ensure flawless execution of in-store visual merchandising to create a clear customer journey and maximize sales and conversion rates.
  • Develop and implement special in-store activations for key promotional periods.

Who we are looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the retail industry
  • proven ability to develop and implement strategic and successful marketing plans
  • excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
  • excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • strong analytical skills to monitor and report on marketing performance and initiatives.
  • up-to-date knowledge of market trends and the competitive landscape.
