We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and highly experienced Marketing Director for the EMEA region to join our client based in Italy. In this leadership role, you will oversee the full Marketing & Communication function, supporting the entire product portfolio across the region.

You will be responsible for both short‑ and long‑term planning and execution, driving business growth through impactful marketing initiatives. This includes expanding corporate and product brand awareness, accelerating order intake, and generating qualified leads through compelling, differentiated, and customer‑focused communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, investment decisions, and execution of integrated online and offline marketing and communication programs across EMEA
  • Support the division’s growth ambitions by navigating a complex and evolving market landscape with strategic, data‑driven marketing initiatives
  • Oversee the rollout of new product launches, product enhancements, and strategic initiatives, prioritizing based on market needs and available resources in close partnership with Product Management and Sales
  • Align the company's offerings with regional customer needs by evaluating trade‑offs, tailoring scalable launch programs, and adapting strategies to varying market maturity levels.
  • Track commercialization outcomes and engagement metrics, implementing corrective actions to optimize performance
  • Direct external communications targeted at key stakeholders, including customers, prospects, trade associations, academia, government entities, and media, to strengthen market presence
  • Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing marketing team, fostering strong collaboration with Product Management, Commercial, R&D, Field Applications, and other cross‑functional partners.
  • Drive effective cross‑functional and cross‑business alignment to accelerate business results and ensure cohesive execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement internal communication plans to ensure organizational alignment around divisional priorities and growth initiatives.
  • Introduce innovative systems, tools, and processes to inspire organizational improvement, strengthen digital marketing infrastructure, experiment with new platforms, and position the company as a thought leader


Qualifications


  • 10–15 years of senior marketing leadership experience, with deep knowledge of the full marketing mix and, ideally, exposure to the water industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, or a related field;
    experience with continuous‑improvement (CI) methodologies is a plus
  • Proven expertise in leading major product launches, with project‑management experience considered highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated success managing large teams across both solid‑line and dotted‑line reporting structures
  • Thrives in fast‑paced, highly competitive, and constantly evolving environments, showing agility and resilience
  • Extensive experience across Marketing & Communication disciplines, including commercial product launches, product development plans, and translating competitive and industry insights into actionable strategies
  • Strategic problem‑solver with strong analytical and influencing skills, able to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, articulate opportunities clearly, and understand key revenue drivers
  • Fluent in the English language
