Purpose
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Marketing & Communication Manager will oversee the development and delivery of the brand online and offline marketing to drive brand awareness, desirability, and sales performance. You will translate HQ strategic brand objectives into local brand plans for your market. This includes establishing a 360° marketing plan overseeing trade marketing, paid media, PR & influencers, events & sponsorships.
Job Responsibilities
- 360° Marketing Plans - According to international Brand guidelines, develop a yearly marketing strategy that helps build the brand, reinforce the brand positioning, and drive traffic & engagement
- Define a yearly marketing plan covering: PR, Media, Events, Influencers & Sponsoring
- Lead and supervise the marketing team of 3 talents: Marketing 360 Project Manager, PR Project Manager & Intern
- Manage ROI and effectiveness of marketing activities across business channels - being sell-out and profitability driven
- Define and respect all yearly marketing budgets
- Be the link between the TAG Heuer HQ and the market to broadcast reporting, optimize plans, identify opportunities and push campaigns further
 
- Trade Marketing - Collaborate with area managers and wholesale partners to implement co-op promotions and initiatives
- Develop marketing materials and ensure consistent brand messaging across all the POS
 
- Media Strategy - Respect HQ media guidelines and touchpoints repartition in elaborating the plan
- Brief and define annual media plan with our media agency
- For each campaign, clarify the objectives and thus define the budget, the targeted population, the assets and the media used (Offline: OOH, Print / Online: Social media, Digital)
- Develop and implement creative solutions to increase awareness, drive traffic to store, and convert online visits
- Monitor performance
- Optimize content, campaigns and key learnings
 
- PR & Influencers - Grow TAG Heuer’s PR share of voice
- Manage the PR Project Manager to write and distribute press releases, pitch stories to journalists, organize press conferences, and respond to media inquiries
- Identify, recruit, and nurture relationships with key journalists, influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify our brand message and reach target audiences
 
- Events & Sponsorship Activations - Contribute to developing, producing and delivering events to support key launches or institutional events
- Coordinate with high-end suppliers to bring premium and luxurious projects, ensuring timely execution of various events
- Manage and oversee local Formula 1 Grand Prix activation, coordinating with HQ for seamless execution of marketing, logistics, and event management
- Ensure setup and deployment of new partnerships to maximize brand awareness, brand desirability and ROI
 
- Reporting - Lead budget presentations to the General Manager / HQ when it comes to Marketing
- Understand, monitor and report on the evolving competitive landscape
- Get consumer insights to extract learnings to help define the CRM and trade strategies
- Be the market expert for quantitative and qualitative monthly and quarterly brand performance reports: consumer & competitive knowledge, 360 activations reports, best practices, media plan
 
Profile
PROFILE REQUIRED Master degree in Marketing, Communication or Business Development; 8+ years’ experience in marketing, retail and/or digital; Fluent in English; Strong negotiation skills & inspirational personality to drive projects; Strong understanding of the retail environment in fast moving industries; Strong planning and analytical skills; Experienced CRM and customer loyalty builder; Strong affinity for the watchmaking industry; Entrepreneurial / startup mindset, hands on, adaptability; Interpersonal and relationship-building skills, collaborative team player; Detail oriented while keeping bigger picture focus; Solution-driven, focused and organized; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Creative and passionate about new trends in lifestyle & motorsport
