Market Technology Project Manager

With a rich history spanning over three decades, MTS has established itself as a cornerstone of the fixed‑income trading community, known for its innovation, reliability and comprehensive service offerings. We are seeking a derivatives specialist to lead the development of the BondVision Interest‑Rate Swaps (IRS) trading platform to complement the existing D2C offering across Rates, Credit and Repo. This key role supports the MTS growth strategy for its BondVision platform and sits within the Product Development team based in MTS’s London office.

Responsibilities

• Defining and executing the strategic roadmap for derivatives trading products, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and market trends.
• Maintaining strong awareness of the competitive landscape.
• Identifying commercial opportunities and accurately interpreting client, dealer requests and regulatory impacts.
• Taking ownership of the management of regulatory applications and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the product life‑cycle, working closely with business and operations teams.
• Working closely with key stakeholders (internal and external) to gather requirements, prioritise features, drive product initiatives and promote adoption.
• Collaborating with the technology team to deliver necessary developments at both protocol and front‑end trading levels, including analytics and reporting requirements across relevant systems.
• Supporting the sales team in internal and external communication with members.
• Supporting the marketing team in creating content for client presentations, marketing literature, conferences and MTS social outlets and the website.
• Analyzing product performance metrics, user feedback and market data to inform continuous improvement and innovation.
• Representing MTS at industry forums and conferences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in product management or business development within the financial services industry, preferably focused on derivatives and / or trading platforms.
• Strong understanding of trading systems, market structure and the financial instruments underlying derivatives.
• Strong operational mindset with excellent attention to detail and process‑management abilities.
• Team player with a proven ability to collaborate across departments and contribute innovative ideas for process improvement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Advanced understanding of IRS fixed‑income trading platforms and financial markets required.
• Familiarity with key vendors in the IRS ecosystem (e.g., MarkitWire, Traiana, Anna‑DSB) and the ability to analyse complex market data, identify trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Service‑oriented mindset with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Business, Finance or a related field).
