For our Milan office we are looking for a Senior Quantitative Researcher to be placed within the Service Line Market Strategy and Understanding.
The Market Strategy and Understanding (MSU ) Service Line specializes in addressing strategic and business-critical issues for clients, such as understanding consumer behavior, decision-making processes related to purchasing behavior, brand positioning, brand equity, and the definition of marketing and brand development strategies.
Ipsos MSU, combining deep market and consumer knowledge with a broad range of integrated, cutting-edge, ad hoc and modeled research solutions, helps its clients make more accurate and differentiated decisions to identify the best growth opportunities and anticipate and capitalize on new trends.
Applying innovative approaches spanning diverse disciplines, such as neuroscience and behavioral science, we provide strategic and consulting guidance for the growth of our clients' businesses.
Market Strategy and Understanding Senior Researcher
Your role
Within the Market Strategy and Understanding Service Line, you will autonomously manage the entire workflow of a research project, ensuring the efficient development and quality of the result of the individual market research.
Specifically, you will have the following responsibilities:
- ensuring an effective relationship with the client from the collection of the brief to the presentation of the research results;
- drafting research projects, formulating methodologies consistent with the inputs received and responding to the client’s specific objectives;
- developing the questionnaire and related translations;
- coordinating with the business functions and actors involved in data collection and analysis, constantly ensuring proper management of time and related costs;
- independently managing the research process;
- checking the received research data, preparing analysis plans, checking the resulting outputs;
- analysing data, preparing reports and sharing them with the client together with their research manager;
- independently creating presentations with comments and, depending on the complexity of the project, dealing directly with the presentation to the client;
- liaising with the client to provide and/or acquire information useful for the closing of the project.
Required hard skills
- At least 5 years’ previous experience in market research and analysis
- Mastery of quantitative research tools
- Presentation skills
- Advanced Excel, Power Point, Advanced English
