MARKET SOLUTION MANAGER AUTOMATIC MILKING SYSTEM ITALY

DeLaval is now looking for a Market Solution Manager to drive automatic milking system and farm management system assortments in Italy. This position is located in Milan.

Purpose of Role and Key Responsibilities

You oversee the product life cycle of all automatic milking system range, farm management system and automatic feeding system. You are managing global life cycle of the assortment including:

  • Local implementation of usual marketing activities (together with sales support) to generate profitable growth; campaign, incentives, training
  • Launching new solution and package adaptation and execution (together with local sales support team)
  • Training plan & Competence handover (to be coordinated with local technical & commercial team)
  • Quality follow up
  • Price set up

You are also expected to participate actively in the South Europe Solution management team and have a close cooperation with the market area representatives: sales team and technical team.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong marketing experience with multiple product lines, 7+ years’ experience in marketing and/or sales
  • Marketing/Customer mindset and the ability to evangelize this perspective within the company
  • Good communication & Training capabilities
  • Academic degree in Marketing, Agriculture Business, Animal Science or equivalent
  • Self-motivated/starter, who takes ownership of the business
  • Working through and with people in a cross-functional manner, must be a good team collaborative worker
  • Effective priority management skills – able to prioritize between conflicting demands.
  • High level of autonomy, including rigorous time management capabilities: very good at planning
  • Fluent in Italian and English
