Our team, the 'Beyond the Core Products' team, is a multidisciplinary group responsible for partnering with hosts to develop high-quality, repeatable, and commercially viable experiences aligned with our brand values. We innovate ways to foster human connection and belonging through shared physical experiences.
The Difference You’ll Make :
As a Market Lead in Italy, you will oversee supply health, quality, and growth by managing professional host accounts and acquiring high-quality inventory. You will build Airbnb’s market presence by collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing acquisition strategies, nurturing relationships, and creating new opportunities. Your role involves developing scalable supply management strategies for diverse markets, ensuring long-term success.
A typical day :
- Identify and engage potential new hosts, ensuring alignment with Airbnb’s standards
- Support and guide hosts to optimize their experiences and grow their businesses
- Assist hosts in creating compelling photo and video content
- Collaborate with operational teams to improve processes
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, working with policy and legal teams
- Connect with local teams to align efforts
- Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities
- Represent host interests and advocate for resources
- Lead brainstorming sessions to develop unique experiences
Your expertise :
- 10+ years in community engagement, events, business development, or account management
- Strong relationship-building skills across diverse teams
- Understanding of social experience challenges and how to guide hosts
- Experience in market growth strategies and talent acquisition
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate organizational barriers and lead cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in fast-paced, data-driven environments
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- Deep knowledge of the Italian market and network
- Passion for Airbnb and its mission
- Fluency in English and Italian
