Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Italy is currently seeking applicants for Market Development Manager Power Modules. Join our Market Development team and help shape the future of Power Modules worldwide. We partner with business and sales leaders to uncover new market opportunities, drive innovation, and expand our reach across regions, customer segments, and product lines. As Market Development Manager, you'll lead the creation and execution of strategic marketing plans that strengthen product positioning and meet evolving application needs. You'll collaborate with a global customer base, ensuring our solutions stay ahead of industry trends and deliver real impact across international markets. In this role, you'll align strategies and processes with the Product Marketing team, guide a cross‑functional network of specialists from Sales, FAE, and regional organizations, and maintain seamless communication with R&D, Quality and other internal teams to achieve outstanding results. Job Location:
Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is a site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently working in Borgaro Torinese Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support the definition and execution of strategic marketing plans in collaboration with the Product Marketing team.
- Manage activities for specific markets and product lines to strengthen product positioning and meet application requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and quantify market opportunities; monitor competitor activity and customer needs.
- Develop business strategies, structures, and processes to penetrate existing or emerging markets.
- Evaluate opportunities for products in new markets, applications, sales channels, or customer segments.
- Provide guidance on application tests and assess feedback on prototype performance, including from a customer perspective.
- Deliver application support to customers through Regional Marketing, Sales Teams, and internal groups (R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing), involving the Power Modules Application Team as needed.
- Build and maintain strong technical relationships with a global customer base to ensure long‑term partnerships.
- Stay current on application trends by engaging with customers, attending power electronics conferences, and collaborating with Corporate Applications/FAE teams.
- Prepare technical materials such as Application Notes, Selector Guides, and documentation to support new product releases.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to propose market development programs.
- Initiate product adaptations or recommend new product developments when appropriate.
- Lead assigned workstreams or implementation projects and manage resources effectively.
What You Will Bring Along
- Bachelors, Master’s degree, or PhD level, in Electronics & Power Engineering or similar.
- Good knowledge of Power Electronics and Devices.
- Past real‑world experience with practical power electronics projects or power converters, specially design of applications and hands‑on laboratory activities.
- Excellent user of IT (emails, cooperation tools like Teams, MS‑Office, Salesforce), including data analysis & interpretation.
- Software or coding skills are highly regarded yet not mandatory.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English language; Other languages are a plus, yet not mandatory.
- Good project and program management skill.
- Good attitude with interpersonal communication skills (written and oral), and good negotiation skills.
- Good motivation to master new major challenges.
- Good motivation & ability to travel worldwide, with an open and flexible mindset.
