We are seeking a Maritime Engineering Planner to support operational planning, readiness objectives, and exercise execution on behalf of the Force Engineer. The role involves developing comprehensive design, planning, and execution products that enable force allocation decisions, future employment strategies, and operational-level coordination. Candidates will provide expert guidance rooted in deep experience with Military Construction (MILCON) processes, installation management, acquisition pathways, and service-contract alignment for Naval installations and expeditionary construction capabilities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in United States Navy or Department of Defense construction programs or contract administration
- 5+ years of experience developing and managing complex expeditionary operations for Navy or Marine Corps combat engineering
- Experience using Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Knowledge of DoD financial regulations, policies, and procedures
- Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DoD financial management systems
- Experience with the five stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC)
- Experience with Joint Training Tool
- Experience on a U.S. Navy Fleet or Marine Expeditionary Force or higher echelon staff
- Knowledge of Europe or Africa areas of responsibility
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Completion of Maritime Planning courses supporting Fleet or Joint operations or Expeditionary operations
Clearance
Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is required.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Compensation is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, experience, and contractual requirements. In addition to salary, we offer health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible for our full benefit program.
