Overview
In this role you will support and optimize automated test equipment across the Remanufacturing team in Tilburg to improve uptime, reliability, and FPY. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance targets, deploy new test systems, and provide post-deployment support. This position sits at the intersection of hardware, software, and data analysis in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. You help shape scalable test capabilities for battery packs, drive units, and energy systems, delivering measurable impact on manufacturing quality and efficiency. Responsibilities
Improve tester uptime, hardware reliability, software stability, cycle time, and first pass yield (FPY). Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process, Quality, and Maintenance Engineering to meet equipment performance targets and troubleshoot gaps. Perform pre-deployment data analysis and VOC feedback to anticipate post-deployment challenges. Develop, validate, and commission manufacturing test systems with thorough documentation and smooth handover to production. Provide post-deployment support including root-cause analysis and corrective actions for test system failures. Support debugging, qualification, and ramp-up activities for new or updated manufacturing lines. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience Hands-on experience with high-voltage test systems, automation equipment, industrial sensors, and data acquisition systems Proficiency in NI TestStand, LabVIEW, and Python Working knowledge of CAN bus protocols and ability to analyze communication traces Experience in interpreting test data to drive engineering decisions Electrical schematic design is a plus Eligibility to work in the Netherlands Benefits
