Managing Consultant – Technical Due Diligence & M&A

In this role you will lead technical due diligence for M&A, financial financing, and project finance in the infrastructure and energy sectors. You collaborate with partners and cross‑functional teams to assess technical, ESG, and commercial value drivers for buy‑side, sell‑side, and project finance transactions. You will coordinate typical diligence deliverables, engage with site visits, and support the expansion of our Infrastructure & M&A services. The position offers exposure to high‑impact deals with leading investors and energy operators. This is a role that shapes risk assessment and value creation in complex transactions.

• Lead technical due diligence mandates within M&A, acquisitions and financing processes
• Evaluate technical, operational, and economic aspects of infrastructure and energy assets
• Identify and present transaction‑related risks and opportunities including value creation potential
• Coordinate transaction deliverables (Q&A, data room reviews, interviews, site visits, investor workshops, due diligence reports)
• Collaborate with internal and external experts for integrated technical, ESG, and commercial evaluation
• Support proposal preparation, scope definition, and contract drafting in transaction contexts
• Contribute to development and expansion of Infrastructure and M&A services

Responsabilità

• Completed technical or engineering degree
• Several years of professional experience in technical consulting, asset management, or operation of infrastructure/energy projects
• Experience in due diligence or M&A projects understanding technical, commercial, and economic value drivers
• Excellent analytical skills and experience evaluating technical documentation
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Excellent written and spoken English (and local language)
