Experteer Overview In this role you will support the Italian market by implementing and monitoring the local control framework aligned with Group requirements. You will act as a trusted business partner to drive continuous improvement, ensuring resilience and full compliance. You collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies and engage senior stakeholders to streamline processes. This position blends finance risk, compliance, and operational controls within a fast-paced media environment, with a clear focus on ethics and integrity and leveraging technology to enhance controls.

Responsibilities

• Promote ethics and integrity culture across the Italian market and advise on anti-bribery and internal policy.
• Design and implement financial, operational, and compliance controls aligned with the Internal Control framework.
• Design and operate quality reviews and control monitoring programs as a second line of defense.
• Coordinate internal control and risk management processes (risk maps, self-certifications, Letters of Representation, Code of Conduct reviews).
• Manage audit and compliance activities, liaising with internal and external auditors and tracking remediation plans.
• Partner with the business to guide strategic changes and develop pragmatic, sustainable process improvements.
• Balance multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Engage with senior stakeholders cross-functionally to ensure adherence to Group requirements and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in risk and controls, ethics/compliance, process improvement, risk management, or audit.
• Strong familiarity with IFRS, SOX, and PCAOB requirements.
• Experience assessing business risk and evaluating internal control effectiveness.
• Proven track record of driving improvement and building relationships.
• Independent work style with structured, multi-tasking approach in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong collaboration skills across geographies and senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in Italian and English (C1/C2).
• Proficient Excel; openness to leveraging AI and technology to enhance processes.
