As Managed Service Manager in Milan, you will oversee outsourced services with strong client‑facing leadership, technical accountability, and contractual/commercial responsibility. You’ll drive end‑to‑end delivery across the SDLC, ensuring regulatory and scheme compliance, production support, and impactful change delivery. You’ll align client needs with business cases and coordinate onshore/offshore teams to achieve high‑quality outcomes. This role offers the chance to shape IT delivery in a global payments context and partner with senior stakeholders.

• Act as primary client and vendor liaison, translating objectives into actionable plans
• Oversee end‑to‑end service performance including production support and incident management
• Lead distributed onshore/offshore teams and manage staffing, performance, and succession
• Own service and project budgets, resource planning, and cost‑risk trade‑offs
• Manage SDLC delivery across Waterfall and Agile, including planning, estimation, UAT, release, and support
• Provide technical direction within the cards payments domain and core processing platforms (e.g., VisionPLUS)
• Define operational processes, drive launch and adoption, gather and act on customer feedback
• Collaborate with program management across development, testing, and release cycles

Responsabilità

• Minimum of 12 years in processing platform application support and/or development
• Strong knowledge of credit card industry (issuing and/or acquiring)
• Excellent negotiation and consensus‑building with customers and stakeholders
• Proven ability to build credible relationships across multiple groups
• Experience identifying business issues and developing risk mitigation strategies
• SDLC experience with Waterfall and Agile; managing multiple projects
• Desirable experience in product/program management with use‑case analysis and process mapping
• Experience in cards/payments domain (issuing/acquiring)
