Cosmetion, based in Romanengo (CR), Italy, and recently acquired by the IL Cosmetics Group , is part of one of the leading European subcontractors in the makeup industry. The IL Cosmetics Group, headquartered in Luxembourg, is recognized as a global supplier specializing in color cosmetics, with expertise in Nails, Eyes, Lips, and, more recently, Face makeup categories.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new formulations that meet marketing and/or client briefs (Powder, Foundation, Concealer, Mascara, etc.).
- Improve existing formulas.
- Develop new shades.
- Monitor physico‑chemical controls and packaging compatibility.
- Conduct technological watch and trend analysis.
- Assist with industrial transposition.
- Contribute to daily laboratory operations.
- Participate in supplier meetings and industry trade shows.
PROFILE
- Minimum Master’s degree (Bac +5), ideally in cosmetic formulation.
- Proven experience in cosmetic formulation is essential.
- Curious, autonomous, and creative, with a passion for innovation and emerging beauty trends.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
- Availability for occasional international travel (trade fairs, supplier meetings, etc.).
