Maintenance Technician

Introduction

The Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for keeping machinery, installations, and production equipment running safely and efficiently. Depending on the company and your technical background, you will focus on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement of machines and technical systems.

You may work on mechanical systems such as bearings, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and production lines, or on electrical systems including sensors, motors, control panels, wiring, and automated equipment. In some roles, the position is more all-round, combining both mechanical and electrical responsibilities.

You will be part of a professional maintenance team in a structured industrial environment where safety, uptime, and quality are key. Depending on the employer, positions may be available in 2-shift, 3-shift, or 5-shift systems, so there is flexibility based on your experience and preference.

This is you

• Experience in maintenance within an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment
• Background in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, or both
• Able to troubleshoot technical issues and carry out repairs independently
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance
• Knowledge of production machinery, installations, and technical systems
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, or electrical/mechanical diagrams is a plus
• Hands-on mentality and a strong sense of responsibility
• Focused on safety, quality, and reliability
• Good communication skills in English
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands
• EU citizenship is preferred for many of our opportunities
