Maintenance Subject Matter Expert

Experteer Overview

In this role you drive the continuous improvement of maintenance across Pirelli’s global manufacturing footprint. You work within the central Continuous Improvement Team to develop standards, train teams, and support factories in implementing best practices. You’ll focus on reducing costs, increasing machine uptime, and optimizing spare parts management, while promoting a culture of improvement through the PME program. This position offers international collaboration, mobility, and a clear path to broader impact in manufacturing excellence. You’ll shape maintenance methods and lead cross‑functional efforts to elevate performance across plants.

Retribuzione / Benefits

• Develop and maintain standards and methods for the Maintenance improvement stream and create training material
• Train on Maintenance standards inside the Pirelli Academy to raise competence at HQ and factories
• Support Plant Directors and improvement teams to implement standards per the Pirelli System Road Map, including on‑site missions
• Identify and promote best practices across factories for wider adoption
• Monitor PM ES implementation progress and project achievements
• Act as an assessor during factory audits
• Build competence to support successful execution of continuous improvement across the organization

Responsabilità

• At least 10 years of manufacturing experience with significant maintenance and Lean management exposure
• Master's Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Management
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other factory languages (German, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Chinese) is a plus
• Strong understanding of Manufacturing Improvement Systems
• Knowledge of Professional and Autonomous Maintenance methods
• Ability to work in international teams and willingness to travel
