As
Maintenance Manager , you will lead the maintenance function of one of our main manufacturing plant in Italy, ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of production and facility equipment. Reporting directly to the Plant Director, you will play a key leadership role in developing maintenance strategies, driving operational performance, and supporting plant modernization initiatives in a dynamic industrial environment.
The role is based at our production site in
Casella (GE)
and requires close collaboration with local and international stakeholders as well as external suppliers and service providers.

About The Role In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing maintenance strategies that maximize equipment reliability, plant availability, safety, and operational performance. You will lead the maintenance team, manage maintenance budgets, and contribute to continuous improvement and modernization projects, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
What You Will Do
Lead and coordinate all maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, corrective, emergency, and extraordinary maintenance
Ensure the reliability and efficiency of production and facility equipment, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions
Develop and implement maintenance plans, procedures, and performance monitoring systems
Identify equipment reliability issues, prioritize interventions, and allocate resources effectively
Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate external suppliers and technical service providers
Lead plant modernization and technological improvement initiatives aligned with business strategy
Oversee plant modifications and layout changes, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets
Monitor maintenance KPIs, analyze performance trends, and drive continuous improvement actions
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, legal requirements, inspections, certifications, and regulatory obligations
Manage the maintenance budget and support cost optimization initiatives
Research and evaluate new technologies, equipment, and maintenance best practices
Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence
About You
Technical degree or Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields)
At least 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance leadership role within a manufacturing environment
Experience managing maintenance teams and coordinating external contractors and suppliers
Strong knowledge of maintenance methodologies, equipment reliability, and industrial plant operations
Experience in maintenance planning, budgeting, and performance management
Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory requirements applicable to industrial facilities
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain functions
Proactive mindset, flexibility, and strong continuous improvement orientation
Experience in multinational organizations and in the plastics industry is considered a plus
Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken
What We Offer We offer a
gross annual salary range of €48.600 – €60.800 , level Quadro according to “Gomma Plastica Industria” Italian CLA, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including:
