Exide is looking for a Maintenance Engineer for the central department group, located in Italy. She/he will be responsible of manufacturing equipment performance optimization and maintenance cost reduction by designing and implementing standard preventive and predictive maintenance procedures over key equipment to reduce unexpected breakdowns, promoting best practices, knowledge sharing and team building, supporting maintenance activities on key equipment, implementing standard structures and critical spare part optimal management.
Main tasks:
- Standard preventive and predictive maintenance instructions for key equipment deployment,
- Analysis of equipment performance in order to maximize OEE reducing the equipment breakdown by maintenance activities,
- Maintenance follow-up (KPIs) and cost optimization across the plants & support to maintenance local teams in problem solving.
- Promotion of Maintenance Best Practices, knowledge sharing, CIP activities, technical support to local teams and maintenance team building,
- Maintenance activities/projects support and coordination for key standard equipment, Opex and Capex related,
- Maintenance capex budget coordination, follow-up and achievement,
- PMO procedure follow-up and reporting for Maintenance related projects,
- CMMS Deployement & Coordination (Users, Assets, Report, KPI, Preventive Maintenance, Mobile, procedures, Configuration ...),
- IATF, ISO procedure preparation and sw configuration for respecting the requirements.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering is required.;
- Experience in industrial / operations environment. Desirable experience in the automotive field: experience in automotive business and knowledge of automotive process standards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machines and manufacturing fundamentals is desirable.
- Experience in industrial environment (battery field is not mandatory but he/she has to be someone
- experience in plant/operations);
- Desired experience in maintenance software utilization and/or implementation.
- Proficiency in MS Office;
- English spoken and written (B2);
- Ability to work in a team, goal orientation and good communication skills.
