The Role

As a Mainframe, Enterprise Architect, you will work with leading Mainframe companies to achieve their business goals through strategic technology implementation. You will connect our customers’ business needs with their IT strategy, using architectural models to create clear, agile, sustainable solutions. Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting and promoting platform offerings
• Providing high-quality, innovative solutions to clients
• Planning and achieving business development goals
• Supporting customers on TCO and demonstrating our offerings' benefits
• Establishing relationships with C-level stakeholders
• Maintaining strong relationships with local and global teams

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Minimum 5 years as a Mainframe Enterprise Architect
• Knowledge of IBM Z Hardware and lifecycle, including Z1x
• Experience with Hybrid Cloud integration, containers, microservices, and DevOps on Mainframe
• Understanding of hardware capacity planning
• Familiarity with Mainframe subsystems: zOS, DB2, CICS, IMS, MQ, RACF, Automation, Scheduling, Storage
• Knowledge of new Mainframe technologies: ZOWE, Operations Analytics, zOS Container Extensions
• Understanding of zVM and zLinux, including SCRT reports and workload pricing
• Knowledge of Mainframe software licensing (IPL, MLC)
• Deep understanding of system architectures, networks, and design principles
• Experience with Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud architectures
• Architectural thinking and solution design skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
