Mandatory Requirements

A minimum of 3 years in a revenue management and/or analytical role.

Preferred experience:

  • Experience in an international hotel chain or hotel group.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel.
  • Experience in a resort environment.

Operational knowledge of any of the following systems:

  • Synexis, Vertical Booking, Protel PMS, CRS/CRO Software.
  • Advanced Excel with strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • High‑level presentation skills via PowerPoint or other tools.
  • Native or fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
  • Must be EU Citizen or in possession of an Italian work visa.

Objective of this Role

The Cluster Revenue Manager will work with the Group Director of Revenue Strategy & Distribution to coordinate and implement all revenue strategies. He/She works closely with the sales and marketing teams as well as the operations teams in each hotel, delivering all aspects of pricing, demand analysis, yield management, business mix optimisation, selling strategies, distribution and intermediary strategy and tactics to maximise revenue growth, profit contribution and market share, working closely with the on‑property reservations and C&E team.

He/She reports to the Group Director of Revenue Strategy & Distribution.

Office Location: Milano
Travel: occasional as required

Core Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and coordinate day‑to‑day yield operations.
  • Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity.
  • Daily pick‑up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting.
  • Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.
  • Create and maintain a 13‑month rolling demand calendar.
  • Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel.
  • Provide a weekly dynamic rolling forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.
  • Oversee strategy for all third‑party distribution.
  • Assess, analyse and price group business strategies.
  • Analyse overall monthly hotel performance and provide a summary report with recommendations to improve long‑term strategies.
  • Ensure the web‑site booking process is maintained up‑to‑date and functional.
  • Ensure hotel personnel is fully competent in the use of all systems.
  • Regularly check the input and the quality of data (segmentation, denials tracking, etc.).
  • Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, groups, etc.).
  • Reduce the cost of distribution by finding new, less expensive means of delivering business.
  • Prepare an outline for and support the annual revenue budget process.
