About the Position:
We are looking for a Logistics & Supply Chain Planning Internship to join the EMEA Parts Supply Chain Team of the Aftermarket Division.
As a Logistics & Supply Chain Planning Intern in Marelli’s Aftermarket Division, you will support the efficient movement of automotive parts between various warehouses located in Italy and EMEA territories.
You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship to build skills in material handling, logistics operations, and inventory management within the dynamic aftermarket environment.
This position is based at our office in Corbetta.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Assist in the lateral transfer of automotive parts across different Aftermarket warehouses in the EMEA region.
- Support the accurate execution of material movements, ensuring compliance with company procedures and systems.
- Collaborate with experienced colleagues in logistics and warehouse management to support inventory accuracy.
- Participate in stock counts, basic audits, and inventory management activities.
- Contribute to optimize material flows, reduce handling time, and improve product availability for customers.
- Complete assigned training modules and proactively seek feedback for continuous improvement.
- Support outbound logistics and Outbound Specialist activities as required.
- Assist in identifying and improving warehouse management flows, including software and technology solutions.
- Support the smooth execution of day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field; previous coursework, internships, or experience in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
- Strong interest in the automotive sector and logistics.
- Fluency in both Italian and English.
- Willingness to learn, be proactive, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset and problem solving.
- Ability to follow instructions and manage priorities effectively.
- Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
