About Us

Tri Coastal Design is a creative and fast-paced company operating in the international design and consumer goods industry. Our Milan office is looking for a logistic specialist to join the supply chain team.


Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Logistics Specialist  to manage and coordinate day-to-day logistics and supply chain operations for our European business. This role is hands-on and requires strong organizational skills, precision, and the ability to ensure that delivery timelines are consistently met.

The Logistics Specialist will handle shipment planning, customs procedures, transport coordination, and communication with suppliers, warehouses, and carriers, always ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems quickly to guarantee the smooth and timely flow of goods.

This position offers the opportunity to play a central role in ensuring reliable delivery performance within a dynamic, international, and fast-growing company.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Warehouse Management:  Manage 3P warehouse to prepare orders and ship in time, planning the receiving and shipping flows correctly in order to achieve delivery dates agreed with customers.
  • Export Procedures:  Issue packing lists, additional packing labels, and export documents. select the best cost effective forwarder for shipments.
  • Customer Service:  Provide excellent and timely customer service by proactively informing clients of the status of their shipments, using judgment and knowledge, and referring more technical questions to the team leader or licensed broker for response.
  • Documentation Processing:  Receive, review, and process documentation for an assigned base of accounts, and manage documents through the internal system. Interface with customers systems to provide updates and communications to produce timely and compliant deliveries. Issue delivery notes for sales, repairs, and rentals; handle couriers and complete waybills.
  • Custom activities coordination:  Obtain releases from customs in import activities, arrange receiving or delivery, and ensure invoicing for services is completed accurately and within the timeframe.
  • Issue Resolution:  Perform initial reviews and advise the supervisor of any problems or irregularities discovered within assigned transactions.


Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to interface effectively with various systems and departments.
  • Knowledge of customs and import/export procedures.
  • Fluent in English writing and spoken is a must
  • A background in logistics operations, with proven experience in managing supplies and shipments from China, will be considered a strong plus.
  • Strong determination to accomplish tasks and achieve established objectives
