Descrizione dell'offerta
At ABB E-mobility, we are building the charging infrastructure for a cleaner, smarter future. To scale, logistics must become a true competitive advantage: reliable for customers, cost-effective for the business, and simple enough to support rapid growth.
We are looking for a Logistics Project Manager to drive high-impact improvement projects across our logistics network. This is a hands‑on project role for someone who can turn complex operational problems into clear facts, practical solutions, and implemented results.
You will work across functions, regions, suppliers, 3PLs and internal stakeholders to improve logistics performance, service levels, cost efficiency and scalability in a fast‑growing, matrix organisation.
In this role your main accountabilities will be:
Lead cross-functional logistics projects from problem definition to implementation and measurable impact
Use data to identify root causes, quantify opportunities, build business cases and track benefits
Drive improvements across transportation, warehousing, service logistics, Trade Compliance and 3PL performance
Support automation and system projects, including TMS implementation, SAP improvements and logistics data/reporting tools
Optimise logistics KPIs such as OTIF, cost, lead time, warehouse productivity, claims and service levels
Manage project plans, risks, actions and stakeholders with clear governance and disciplined follow‑up
Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and 3PL/4PL partners to ensure solutions are implemented and sustained
Challenge the status quo, simplify processes and build scalable ways of working
To make the above work, we are looking for a professional who has the ability to communicate clearly with both operational teams and senior stakeholders. Other essential requirements:
Strong experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, consulting or project management
Excellent problem‑solving skills: structured thinking, root‑cause analysis and hypothesis‑driven approach – consulting experience is a plus
Strong data analysis capability; able to turn complex data into insights, decisions and action plans
Proven ability to implement change through stakeholder management in a complex matrix organisation
Experience in one or more of the following: transportation, warehousing, 3PL management, TMS, SAP, automation, KPI optimisation or Trade Compliance
Strong ownership, drive and bias for action
Fluent in both English and Italian
Availability to work regularly from our San Giovanni Valdarno site
What we offer A role with broad exposure, real business impact and the opportunity to shape the future of logistics in ABB E-mobility. You will join an international team focused on customer satisfaction, operational excellence and cost effectiveness — helping the business scale by making logistics simpler, faster and better.
Compensation Details The employment framework is based on the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with an indicative level between B2/B3 and a minimum gross annual salary starting from € 35.000.
The specific level and compensation package will be defined based on the outcome of the selection process (including experience, skills set, and role fit), in accordance with objective, transparent, and gender‑neutral criteria, in line with pay equity and equal opportunity principles.
The total compensation package also includes a variable bonus linked to individual and company targets.
