Join the South Europe Zone Logistics team and drive the transformation of our operations by ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across the entire zone! The role could be based in any of the warehouses in the South Europe Logistics and Transport Zone (Setubal, Spain, Basiano, Bologna, Maddaloni, Bucharest, Hatvan). Reporting to the Logistics Zone Director.

Mission

As the Logistics Process & Safety Manager for the South Europe zone, you will be the guarantor of operational excellence and standardization. Your mission is to co-design with Logistics & Safety COE, deploy, and maintain optimal logistics processes that maximize performance while ensuring a safe working environment for all our teammates. You will play a central role in aligning local practices with Decathlon's global standards, acting as a key reference for the zone's logistics community.

Your mission: standardize our processes and ensure safety for sustainable performance.

  • Standardization and Deployment: You will analyze existing logistics processes, identify best practices, and apply Logistics United operational standards for the entire zone's network. You will lead the deployment of these standards across different warehouses and platforms in countries, ensuring they are adopted and respected.
  • Safety and Compliance: You will be the safety policy relay, ensuring that logistics processes and infrastructure within the zone meet the United standards. You will conduct assessment, identify potential risks, and implement action plans to mitigate them in collaboration with local & United teams.
  • Performance Managership: You will co-define with Logistics & Safety COE and track KPIs related to process quality, efficiency, and safety. You will facilitate rituals to ensure rigorous monitoring, continuous improvement, towards Operational Excellence.
  • Support and Training: You will contribute to tools and training materials with University teams to help local teams master United Standards, processes and safety rules. You will support training sessions and coach local referents and trainers so they can become autonomous.
  • Contribution to the Logistics & Safety Community: You will share best practices, actively participate in cross-functional projects, and help evolve the culture of safety, Standards and Continuous Improvement within Decathlon's logistics.

Profile

  • You are a logistics professional with strong expertise in process management, continuous improvement, and operational excellence with at least 5 years of experience.
  • You have significant experience in deploying operational standards in a multi-site or international environment.
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and regulations.
  • You have Master's Degree, IEP, IUP, Bac+4
  • You possess excellent communication and teaching skills and are capable of convincing and supporting change.
  • You have the capacity to act as a counter-power
  • You are fluent in English (minimum level B2).
