Logistics Operations Intern

We are looking for a person who will join Moleskine as a Logistics Operations Intern. The position is hybrid based in Milan.

Scope of the role

The person that will join our team, will take care of operational activities of inbound and outbound flows, working closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners.

The role combines operational execution and analytical/reporting activities.

Main activities:

• Support in organizing and coordinating transportation (sea, road, air)
• Shipment tracking and preparation of operational reports using Excel and SAP
• Collection, verification, and updating of related data
• Support in managing logistics and transport documentation
• Interaction with freight supplier, forwarders and logistics service providers
• Support in basic transportation cost analysis

Requirements:

• Degree (completed or in progress) in Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering, or related fields
• Academic exposure to business, operations, or supply chain topics is considered a plus
• Basic knowledge of import and distribution logistics processes

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with ERP systems or logistics software is a plus
• Good organizational and time-management skills

Training Objectives:

The intern should be able to grasp by the end of the internship the following objectives:

• Knowledge of import logistics and transportation processes
• Operational skills in shipment coordination
• Proficiency in Excel-based reporting and analysis
• Understanding of logistics KPIs and cost structures
• Ability to work in a team and interact with external partners
