Logistics Coordinator

BASIC FUNCTION:

Support the Supply Chain Team in ensuring efficient and compliant handling of all logistics activities related to rig operations.

DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and monitor inbound/outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and suppliers to manage transport schedules and optimize freight costs.
• Prepare shipping and customs documentation, including invoices, manifests, and declarations.
• Ensure compliance with transport, customs, and import/export regulations.
• Oversee bonded warehouse operations, including inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation, and customs record management.
• Ensure timely closure of material and service POs in line with Supply Chain procedures.
• Support supervision of external staff activities at the Ravenna Yard.
• Execute logistics operations in accordance with the Shelf Drilling Supply Chain Manual.
• Provide regular logistics and operational updates to the Supply Chain Manager.

QHSE:

• Comply with company HSE policies and procedures.
• Promote safe working practices and ensure adherence to safety standards in all logistics activities.

PREREQUISITES / QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months of experience in logistics or supply chain operations
• Basic knowledge of shipping documentation and logistics processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency (written and verbal)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
