Job Purpose
The Logistics Analyst manages discrepancies between physical inventory and accounting, analyzes anomalies, and coordinates physical counting activities. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Root cause analysis for negative material stocks
- Management of discrepancies between delivered goods and related shipping
- Management of issues related to differences between physical and accounting inventory
- Control of physical/accounting inventory at subcontracting suppliers
Analysis of excess and obsolete stocks
- Update of material status
- Verify with Production/Technical/Service whether excess or obsolete materials can be recovered or sold
- Identification of codes for scrap
Analysis of transportation costs
- Analysis of transportation costs for invoices to the contract
- Determination of the % for the Annual Cost Roll
- Estimate of monthly transportation costs
Inventory
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
- Participate in organizing physical inventory, providing instructions, and providing staff training.
- Compile reports on inventory changes and 5 Whys analysis
Competencies & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering or similar
- Previous experience in materials management preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and management software
- Ability to manage emotions, interact effectively with others
- Organize work effectively, distinguish urgency from importance, and optimize resources
- Demonstrate interest in innovation and constantly update skills through independent and continuous learning
- Ability to analyze data, evaluate scenarios, and make informed decisions quickly
- Ability to deal with the unexpected, react positively to difficulties, and transform changes into opportunities
