What you will do
As Logistic Freight Out Intern, you will have the opportunity to get a 360° overview by managing an end-to-end process. You will become accountable and manage autonomously your daily workload in a highly dynamic and agile work environment.
Specifically, you will support the Regional Logistics and Warehousing performance, managing the operations in order to drive efficiencies from HQ side and on the field.
- Supporting in implementation of a cost-efficient Logistic Network by costs tracking (es Demurrage e Detention), logistic network analysis & reporting
- Assessing new suppliers, renegotiating existing contracts, loadability changes, best transportation mean to achieve cost savings or mitigate cost increases.
- Warehousing and Distribution tender supporting activity.
- Regional management for all the FG Logistic flow from the inbound flow (freight-in primary logistic) until the warehousing and distribution to B2B customers (Freight-out costs/secondary logistic costs).
- EMEA Logistics Financials and KPIs Reporting to Sr Manager and Supply Director following up on costs and 3PL services deviations
What you need to succeed
· Student in engineering, economics or similar
· Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
· Excellent knowledge of Office Package, Excel in particular
We offer an initial 6 months paid internship
