The Localization Sourcing manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the competitiveness of the organization by identifying, developing and onboarding suppliers, with focus on best-cost countries. This position will drive supplier localization initiatives in line with global category strategies and overall industrial footprint strategy in alignment with the business objectives.
Your Mission
Main responsibilities:
- Identifyand qualify new suppliers, prioritizing these in best-cost countries toachieve strategic cost advantages
- Leadlocalization activities for the region in line with global categorystrategies
- Conductsupplier capability assessments, including technical, financial andoperational evaluations
- Implementsupplier onboarding process to meet company quality, delivery andsustainability standards
- Partnerwith the Sourcing groups, Supplier quality other cross functional teams
- Negotiateand establish long‑term agreements with the new suppliers, ensuringcompetitive TCO and favorable terms
- Defineglobal benefit targets and ensure achievement of targets and KPIs on abest cost suppliers development roadmap
- Communicateeffectively and manage relationships with key stakeholders and relevantinternal personnel.
- Ensure compliancewith the sourcing processes
Your Profile
Education requirements:
- MasterDegree or equivalent
- InBusiness, Economics or Engineering (Post-Graduate in Management, Business,Procurement is preferred)
- Proficientin MS Office, Outlook, Basic SAP knowledge or equivalent
Language requirements:
- Frenchand / or Italian is advantage
Professional qualification and experience:
- 5-10years in strategic sourcing in international environment, preferably inhigh industry standards companies
- Internationalnegotiation, contract and claim management
- Preparedto travel
- Experiencein supplier scouting, evaluation, business case creation and assesment
- Additionalexperience in cost reduction projects, value analyses, total quality mgt.,supplier qual. assurance
- Strongwritten and oral communication skills; be able to communicate effectivelyat all levels
- Results oriented
