Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and dynamic individual to join our Rome Ground Operations team as a full-time Coordinator. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent problem-solving skills, and maintains a cool demeanor in challenging situations. This role is particularly suited to an eager and energetic professional, ready to manage and coordinate tours and events across Rome, including at iconic locations like the Vatican Museums and the Colosseum.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating tours and events, welcoming clients and facilitating smooth meet-and-greets with guides at various starting locations, including the distribution of necessary materials.
- Handling emergencies at tour meeting points efficiently, with support from our operations team.
- Collaborating closely with Guide Managers and the coordination team to ensure seamless tour experiences.
- Sustaining relationships with venue partners and liaising with the Rome-based operations team to preemptively address and resolve challenges.
What We Require
- High energy, motivation, and reliability, coupled with a positive outlook and engaging personality.
- Fluent in English and Italian, with the ability to navigate the city quickly (via scooter, bike, moped preferred).
- Adept at managing stress and remaining composed under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to welcome clients and establish trust with our guide team.
- Detail-oriented, time-management and organizational skills.
- Quick learner, ready to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Technological proficiency, in order to work with our proprietary software on a company-provided iPad.
- Professional presentation and willingness to adhere to a company uniform.
- Team player mentality.
- Must have the legal right to live and work in Rome.
Working Hours
- This is a full-time role, requiring 40 hours per week, spread across 6 days. The schedule includes morning hours from 7 AM until mid‑day, followed by a brief evening session at 6 PM.
