To strengthen our Cyber Defense Center, we are looking for a Linux System Administrator eager to grow into an Elastic Engineer role.

Who are we looking for?

A Linux professional ready to take a step forward and specialize in a modern, strategic platform.

What will you do?

You will join the Infrastructure & Security Operations team, starting from core Linux system administration tasks and progressively becoming a key reference point in managing the Elastic Stack, the heart of our SIEM platform.

Your responsibilities will evolve to include:

  • Managing and tuning the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)
  • Designing scalable, high‑availability Elasticsearch clusters
  • Creating Logstash/Beats pipelines to integrate logs from multiple systems
  • Optimizing performance, indices, and queries for advanced analysis and detection
  • Collaborating with SOC & Security teams on new use cases and data sources
  • Automating deployments, upgrades, and operations (Ansible/Terraform)
  • Implementing security controls (TLS, RBAC, X‑Pack)
  • Documenting and continuously improving the infrastructure

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of Linux systems
  • Experience with log management, parsing, and data normalization
  • Ability to work in international teams, autonomy, problem‑solving
  • Fluent Italian and good English

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience with Elastic Stack in production
  • Knowledge of detection engineering or threat intelligence
  • Elastic certifications (e.g., Elastic Certified Engineer)
