Linux Software Engineer

TXT Group, an international leader in Information Technology, is looking for a Software Engineer to join as a Linux Platform Software Engineer on a major aerospace project. The resource will be involved in building the development environment and Linux platform software for a satellite receiver, contributing to design, development and testing activities.

Main responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of a new satellite receiver by analyzing documentation and high-level requirements
• Contribute to the detailed implementation of platform software for managing the new devices planned for the receiver, including engineering releases and updates of interface documentation
• Contribute to the design and development of test software for the production of the receiver

Required technical skills

• Knowledge of embedded software development on Linux platforms
• Excellent knowledge of C/C++ programming languages
• Knowledge of version control tools (SVN/GIT)
• Knowledge of Redmine for bug reporting

Optional technical skills

• Experience in the design of satellite receivers

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

• Aerospace Engineering
• Computer Engineering
• Electronic Engineering

Soft skills

• Problem solving
• Teamworking skills
• Willingness to travel

• Entry level (0 years of experience)
• Junior (1–2 years of experience)
