Level 2 Desktop Support Specialist – Contract (12 Months)
Location: Parma, Italy (on-site, 5 days per week)
⏳ Duration: 12 months, with extension potential
Rate: Competitive, DOE
We’re hiring a Level 2 Desktop Support Specialist to join a global IT services provider, working with a major manufacturing client in Parma.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience in Level 2 desktop support (enterprise environments)
- Skilled in Windows & Apple devices, plus peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of servers, storage, cabling, switches, firewalls & Wi-Fi
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Background in manufacturing or industrial IT support
- Experience in structured/regulatory environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on desktop/laptop/peripheral support
- Troubleshoot escalated issues in enterprise IT environments
- Support Microsoft/VMware systems and infrastructure
- Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders
- Maintain documentation to compliance standards
