Job Overview

The role of Senior Golf Course Mechanic is to oversee all maintenance and repair of golf course equipment. This position requires a hands‑on, detail‑oriented professional with deep mechanical expertise, leadership capability, and a passion for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and service all golf course equipment including mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and small engines.
• Develop a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Prioritize repairs based on the needs of the Golf Course Superintendent.

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a mechanic or technician in golf course maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to read technical manuals and use diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver’s license.

Proficiency in English and Italian

Familiarity with major turf brand equipment such as Toro, John Deere, Jacobsen, etc.

Experience in interpreting technical schematics.

Diagnostic tool proficiency.

A proactive, teamwork‑oriented work attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
