What we will do together

Partner with internal clients by considering immediate legal and compliance issues within a broad business context and identifying business purposes and objectives; proactively apply legal and compliance expertise to address specific business activities; develop alternative legal solutions to enable the achievement of successful business outcomes.

Draft, review, and participate in negotiations of a wide range of legal documents, including commercial contracts, supply and service agreements, settlement agreements, legal letters, statements of defence, legal briefs, and legal advice.

Effectively support members of the Country Legal Team through legal research, providing timely and business‑oriented advice to internal clients on legal and compliance matters.

Demonstrate expert knowledge of country laws, regulations, and policies across several specialized legal areas, as well as company policies and procedures; maintain a strong working knowledge of corporate law, contract law, commercial law, and competition law, among others.

Are you the missing ingredient we’re looking for?

  • Law degree.
  • At least 2–3 years of post‑qualification professional experience.
  • Professional experience as a trainee and/or attorney in a reputable law firm.
  • Strong and solid background in corporate law, contract law, court and out‑of‑court litigation.
  • Excellent command of Italian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Positive communication style with excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to synthesize complex legal and compliance issues into clear and essential elements for clients throughout the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple time‑sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, including diplomacy and flexibility, and the ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast‑paced work environment, demonstrating initiative, autonomy, and the ability to learn quickly.

Nice to have requirements

  • Successfully passed the bar exam and licensed to practice law before Italian courts.
  • Additional expertise in one or more of the following areas is a plus: competition law, data protection, compliance with Legislative Decree 231/2001, public and environmental law, food law.
  • An LLM obtained abroad and/or professional experience as an in‑house counsel is considered a plus.
  • Experience in the FMCG sector is a plus.
