Legal Expert - In House

About the Role

Investland Bali Properties is seeking an experienced In-House Legal Expert to join our dynamic and growing team in Bali. This is a full-time position responsible for delivering strategic, high-quality, and cost-effective legal services to support our property development and investment operations across Bali.

What You'll Be Doing

Advising on a wide range of commercial contracts, including property acquisitions, leases, and other agreements. Ensuring compliance with local and national regulations, including property development, foreign investment, licensing, and tax laws. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents to support the company’s strategic initiatives.

Assisting with tenders and opportunities for new property development projects. Providing legal guidance on permits, construction licensing, intellectual property protection, data privacy, and other relevant matters.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a commercial law firm or in-house legal team. Strong exposure to a broad range of commercial legal practice areas, including property, investment, corporate, and real estate law.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused advice. In-depth understanding of the local and national legal landscape in Bali and Indonesia. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Proactive, solution-oriented, and committed to excellence.
