Experteer Overview

As Legal Counsel at Schneider Electric, you will provide day‑to‑day legal support with a focus on sales contracts across projects and channel activities. You will draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, support standard templates and playbooks, and assist on higher‑risk contracts. You will help manage claims, disputes, and coordinate external counsel, while supporting compliance initiatives and governance. Work with cross‑functional teams to drive risk management and process improvements in a values‑driven, international setting.

• Provide day‑to‑day legal support to sales teams on project and channel contracts
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (customer, project, framework, distribution, reseller, confidentiality)
• Support application of templates, playbooks and approval processes, escalating deviations
• Assist senior lawyers on high‑risk or complex project contracts
• Support oversight and management of claims, disputes and litigation
• Coordinate external counsel and manage information gathering, documentation and reporting
• Maintain claims and litigation trackers and support escalation and approval processes
• Support Group compliance initiatives, policy implementation and monitoring
• Act as first point of contact for routine legal queries and assist across operational matters

Responsabilità

• Bachelor's degree in Law and qualified lawyer with initial post‑qualification experience or newly qualified with relevant commercial/in‑house training
• Fluent in English and Italian
• Strong interest in commercial contracting, projects and sales support
• Sound legal drafting and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Pragmatic, solutions oriented with developing commercial awareness
• Ability to manage multiple matters in parallel and work under supervision
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with non‑legal stakeholders
