Legal Counsel - Sandoz

As a Legal Counsel based in Origgio, you will provide effective legal counsel to assigned business functions or teams within your country / Business Franchise / Business Unit or Corporate function, acting as a legal advisor and business partner, negotiating contracts, managing litigation, and providing counsel on substantive legal issues.

Your key responsibilities

• Act as a business partner in all activities relating to contractual negotiations and the company's statutory obligations by substantiating recommendations and providing legal advice to senior legal counsels / Head Legal.
• Draft basic transactions and contracts independently.
• Advise on and assist management decision-making regarding contract and other risks related to business activities, providing potential solutions. Manage disputes, litigation, and investigations.
• Manage relationships and monitor the work of outside counsel and legal experts. Support activities regarding compliance issues, such as anti-trust and regulatory matters. Partner and liaise with external local counsels.
• Participate in developing, recommending, and implementing legal policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Fluent written and spoken Italian and English
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to collaborate with internal departments
• Ability to work with external providers
• Experience with labor matters and contracts

Desirable requirements

• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical company
• Experience with product launch contracts
