Legal Counsel - Digital Payments & Fintech (Part-Time / Freelance)

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and ensure compliance with regulations in the digital payments ecosystem, including PSD2, AML, and GDPR
• Liaise with external legal counsels and internal stakeholders to coordinate legal risk assessments
• Maintain an organized repository of contracts and legal documentation
• Support procurement and finance teams with legal advice related to contractual obligations
• Monitor regulatory developments in the fintech / payments sector and advise management accordingly

Requisiti

• Law degree and (preferred) professional qualification to practice in Italy
• Hands-on experience in a legal role, ideally in fintech, digital payments, or technology sectors
• Strong knowledge of commercial and civil law, with a focus on contracts and dispute resolution
