Legal Councel Specialist

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drafting and negotiating land and property agreements including drafting and reviewing purchase agreements, land lease agreements, conducting title searches, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with zoning/land-use laws.
• Acting as interface to landowners, project developers, external law firmand notary publics
• Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial related documentation including development agreements and letters of intent
• Understanding of energy markets (e.g., solar, BESS),
• Managing litigation, arbitration, and commercial claims related to project delays or contractual breaches.
• Providing legal support to the technical and business development departments
• Reviewing and assessing legal due diligence reports
• Contract management
• Coorporate
• M&A transactions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

• Graduation in Law

Experience:

• 3-4 years post-graduation experience, working in-house or in private practice.

COMPETENCE AND SKILLS

• Well-developed communication skills (including oral, written, and interpersonal skills) and the ability to liaise and negotiate with individuals in a variety of contexts are essential for this role.
• Excellent knowledge of written and oral English
• Experience of renewable energy projects in Italy
• Spanish language skills are highly appreciated.
