The opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Legal and Compliance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that the company operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Salary:

32K – 36K

Responsibilities:

• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective compliance programme to prevent and detect violations of legal and regulatory requirements;
• Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the business;
• Provide support to internal departments by delivering in-depth analyses and legal advice;
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to promote compliance throughout the organisation;
• Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters;
• Conduct internal audits and investigations to monitor and assess compliance levels;
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that compliance requirements are fully integrated into business processes and practices.
