Manufacturing Lead Training Specialist will track Global Manufacturing Engineers’(ME) competencies to improve MEs domain knowledge in standardization and execution to fulfill and exceed customer expectations. You will ensure continuous growth of the ME learning curve by developing, planning and tracking the execution of new technical courses based on technology and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Engage periodically with the Manufacturing/Business teams to assess new learning needs and identify competency gaps based on business changes. Keep the Competency Programs up to date.
- Track competencies, progress of development plans and completion of classroom, on-the-job training and online courses. Conduct follow-up communication with client groups to determine learning effectiveness and reinforce training.
- Support the development of a new Competency Matrix for ME with CDMP methodology.
- Coordinate the Energy Valley program ensuring flawless execution.
- Maintain the Existing Competency Matrix aligned to new technologies.
- Develop technical trainings locally in the regions with service providers or universities.
- Be responsible for logistics planning and communication of training to the entire ME population. Responsible for training credits monitoring and uploading on the Learning Management System.
- Support ME synergies through the BSs/PLs based on ME segregation.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
- Technical background in Engineering, Manufacturing, Field Services Activities or Supplier Quality Management. At least 4-5 years of experience.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Learning management roles.
- CDMP design methodology knowledge.
- Strong problem solving, coaching and solutions competency.
- Experience leading matrix or cross-functional teams with project management and facilitation skills.
- Global mindset.
- Strong data management competency and relevant software and applications.
- Good quantitative and analytical skills.
- Leadership, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
