New Eco Landscapes is a residential landscape design and installation firm serving the NYC five boroughs. We build beautiful, lasting outdoor spaces — from intimate city gardens to rooftop terraces — and we take pride in craftsmanship, quality, and client relationships. We are seeking an experienced Lead Installer to take ownership of field operations and deliver exceptional results on residential landscape projects across NYC. You will be the driving force on job sites — directing crews, solving problems, and maintaining our standard of excellence from start to finish.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Lead daily site operations from start to finish, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality installations
- Direct and mentor a crew of 2–4 installers, setting the pace and standard on every project
- Execute planting, grading, hardscaping, raised bed construction, and container installations
- Coordinate material deliveries, staging, and logistics in urban environments
- Communicate professionally with clients and building staff; represent the company on-site
- Maintain site notes, photos, and as-built documentation
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on landscape installation experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or foreman role
- Strong knowledge of plant material, soil preparation, and installation best practices
- Experience working in NYC urban environments; rooftop/terrace installs a strong plus
- Valid NYS driver's license required; box truck experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
