Lead Buyer Electronics & Components (m/f/d)
For the voestalpine Böhler Welding Arc Technology Srl based in Cittadella (PD) we are looking for a Lead Buyer to work within the Sourcing department and contribute to the Purchasing Team. The role is a strategic purchaser for one or more product groups assigned.
Responsibilities
- Strategic management of the assigned product groups to maximize overall value, enhance purchasing power and account for total cost of ownership.
- Implementation and execution of strategic purchasing processes in alignment with the functional procurement strategy and efficient execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with suppliers on commercial and contractual matters.
- Develop and implement the category strategy for the assigned product groups in collaboration with Global Sourcing.
- Manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance and promote improvement initiatives.
- Conduct procurement activities: requests for information, bid evaluation, discrepancies clarification, negotiation strategy development, negotiation execution, contract creation and award decisions, ensuring quality, safety and sustainability criteria are met.
- Determine negotiation strategies in coordination with Global Sourcing and act as a negotiator.
- Make framework agreements available to the Purchasing Team.
- Collect and analyze risk‑management data and implement related mitigation measures.
- Manage commercial aspects including procurement channel implementation, contracts, price controls and timely price approvals.
Qualifications
- Technical diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably within the power electronics industry or technology‑driven sectors.
- Fluency in English and Italian at a professional level.

Benefits
- Salary: €45,000 – €55,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Company canteen (cost €1.30/day payable by the employee).

- Working hours: start 08:00 or 08:30, lunch break 1 hour, finish 17:00 or 17:30.
- Location: Cittadella and Onara di Tombolo (PD) – Italy. Remote working not available.
