LCA and CCF consultant

Your mission We are seeking for a talented professional to join our Sustainability experts team . The candidate has a scientific background and is preferably graduated in Environmental Sciences or Environmental engineering, willing to be involved immediately in State of the art and innovative projects, carried out in Italy and across the globe Your profile Technical Skills and Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Life Cycle Assessment projects (ISO 14040⁄14044), developed either in consultancy companies, internal enterprise sustainability departments, or equivalent academic research projects.
• 3+ years of experience in Carbon Footprint of product (CFP) projects compliant with ISO 14067
• 3+ years of experience in Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) projects compliant with ISO 14064-1 and GHG Protocol
• Professional experience with SimaPro in modelling complex products and supply chains, as well as software management (database update, software upgrade etc.)
• Experienced MS Excel skills, including creation of pivot tables, multi-workbook management, iterative calculations, custom functions
• Experience with third-party reviews of LCA, CFP, and CCF studies and their validation
• Availability for business travels, either in Italy or abroad.

Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following services:

• Definition of decarbonization trajectories and setting of targets and their submission compliant with SBTi guidelines
• Development of LCA models for natural feedstocks (animal meat, natural fibers etc.) backed by rigorous scientific assessment;
• Calculation of land use and land use change Carbon pools dynamics under different management and change scenarios, preferably through internationally recognized scientific models and methodologies
• Successful submission of third party-reviewed LCA studies.
• Knowledge of Python and other programming languages

Education, Professional Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English.
