Legal Advisor - Utility Sector

We are seeking an experienced legal advisor to join our team and manage all legal activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Job

This is a unique opportunity for a senior lawyer to work in a highly regulated industry, leading legal, regulatory, and compliance activities within the company. As a key member of the management team, you will ensure the organization operates within applicable laws and regulations, mitigate risks, and support business growth in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analyze, interpret, and apply regulatory requirements from authorities such as AGCOM, ARERA, and AGCM, overseeing their implementation.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, drafting responses, observations, and official communications.
  • Handle contractual matters with clients, suppliers, partners, and wholesale operators.
  • Address regulatory and compliance issues in the utility sector.
  • Manage compliance systems, including development, implementation, and updating of the Model 231 and corporate procedures.

Ensure compliance with corporate law, including assemblies, decisions, and relationships with the Board of Directors.

  • Manage disputes and sanctions proceedings in coordination with external law firms.
  • Collaborate with DPO and CISO to align legal strategy with privacy and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with GDPR and NIS2.
  • Support the management of Model 231 and maintain relationships with the Supervisory Body.

Requirements

Master's degree in Law with at least 10 years of experience in legal and regulatory fields, including a minimum of 5 years in telecommunications and energy sectors.

Strong background in regulatory law, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Familiarity with the Italian market and regulatory framework is highly desirable.
