At KPMG, you’ll have the opportunity to help clients, society, and colleagues tackle and solve the most current and complex challenges. We are looking for a Junior Java Developer to support the maintenance and optimization of software developed internally by KPMG. You will work closely with experienced colleagues to implement advanced digital solutions for clients in the Financial Services sector, ensuring operational efficiency and supporting business processes.

• Collaborate in implementing complex procedures for business process management.
• Contribute to the development of software solutions by writing code in Java.
• Design and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and/or deletion in databases.
• Manage database maintenance and the procedures for the implemented queries.
• Prepare technical analyses of end-to-end processes and monitor interfaces.
• Collaborate in integrating data from different sources or systems, working on ETL processes.
• Support the solution release and Hypercare phase.
• Create customized reports for users and develop data analyses aimed at improving data quality.

Come As You Are – Your Skills and Characteristics

• Degree or ongoing studies in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a STEM‑related field.
• Basic knowledge of object‑oriented programming, preferably in Java.
• Interest in Full Stack development with a focus on Back End technologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with data integration concepts and cloud architectures.
• Good command of the English language, preferably with study and/or work experience abroad.
